Sidley, in partnership with DataGuidance, is pleased to announce “GDPR Essentials: Data Subject Rights,” the final webinar in our four-part series on the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). GDPR Essentials aims to help businesses update and develop their policies and procedures to comply with the new GDPR requirements, which will be enforced beginning May 25, 2018.

Intended to standardize data protection measures across the European Union, the updated GDPR will significantly impact companies, both in Europe and around the world, that collect European citizens’ data. One important change introduces potential fines for noncompliance of up to 4 percent of annual worldwide turnover.

This webinar will examine, from a practical perspective, how to manage the new GDPR data subject rights including the right of erasure, portability, right to object and profiling.
