Safe Harbor Briefing: Your Questions Answered

Sidley Austin LLP are proud to announce an urgent complimentary webinar, “Safe Harbor Briefing: Your Questions Answered,” in partnership with DataGuidance.

Currently confirmed for the briefing panel are: Cameron Kerry, Senior Counsel, who as General Counsel of the U.S. Commerce Department led U.S. discussions with the EU on Safe Harbor; William Long, Partner, who advises on European privacy law; and Maarten Meulenbelt, Partner, who advises on EU regulatory affairs.

Panelists will discuss and answer your questions on the CJEU’s judgment and its impact, as well as the Advocate General’s recent opinion that the protections offered by the Safe Harbor framework are no longer adequate.

Maarten Meulenbelt focuses his practice on EU regulatory affairs, litigation and competition law issues affecting the life sciences sector in Europe. Maarten has significant competition law experience in a variety of sectors.
