Women in Privacy

Women in Privacy™ or WIP™ invites you to join our networking event featuring a roundtable discussion of the latest data protection and privacy hot topics followed by a drinks reception.
The Women in Privacy networking group is for data protection and privacy professionals and aims to provide a platform for high-level discussion of data protection and privacy law developments, to facilitate and strengthen networking among women privacy professionals, and to mentor and promote the advancement of women in the field.
Deputy Director, Head of the Department of European and International Affairs, Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL)
Florence Raynal began her career in 2000 within the law firm Donahue & Partners LLP in New York, where she participated in the setting up of their privacy offer of services and worked for three years on clients’ international compliance projects. Back in France, she worked as a senior manager within Ernst & Young law firm for four years where she advised on privacy matters at both national and European levels. She also advised Ernst &Young internally as Data Protection Officer (Correspondant Informatique et Libertés) and coordinated the firm’s privacy compliance for the 26 countries of the Continental Western European Area. In 2008, she was appointed Head of the International and European Affairs Department of the CNIL. She advised the former Presidents Alex Türk, and Isabelle Falque-Pierrotin in their chairmanship of the Article 29 Working Party and of the International Conference and currently the President Marie-Laure Denis on any subject of International and European dimension for the CNIL.
