Women in Privacy™ (WIP) invites you to join our networking event featuring remarks by Jordan Rae Kelly, Brittan Heller, and Hattie Davison.

The WIP networking group is for data protection and privacy professionals and aims to provide a platform for high-level discussion of data protection and privacy law developments, to facilitate and strengthen networking among female privacy professionals, and to mentor and promote the advancement of women in the field.

Jordan Rae Kelly is a Senior Managing Director and the Head of Cybersecurity for the Americas at FTI Consulting. Ms. Kelly has more than 15 years of experience coordinating incident response and managing cyber policy planning. At FTI Consulting, Ms. Kelly advises clients on a broad range of cybersecurity and data privacy matters involving breaches, insider threats, intellectual property, crisis communications, vendor management, compliance, regulation, risk management, and forensic investigations.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Ms. Kelly served as the Director for Cyber Incident Response on the National Security Council at the White House. During her tenure there, she was responsible for both national incident response coordination, as well as management of the U.S. Government’s process for managing zero-day exploits. She was also a chief author of the National Cyber Strategy, the first of its kind in the United States in 15 years.

Brittan Heller works at the intersection of technology and human rights. She advises tech companies, investors, and governments on integrating public safety and freedom of expression. Heller is Global Business and Human Rights Counsel at Foley Hoag LLP. She was an inaugural AI and Technology Fellow at Harvard University’s Kennedy School, studying human rights and immersive technology. Heller previously founded the Center for Technology and Society. She created award-winning technology, like AI to study hate speech and VR/AR to positively impact minority communities. Additionally, Heller prosecuted genocide and war crimes for U.S. Department of Justice and the International Criminal Court.

Heller also studies online harms in a global context. She was part of the steering committee of the Trans-Atlantic Working Group on Disinformation, Hate Speech, and AI. She publishes extensively on these topics and previously initiated landmark anti-cyberharassment litigation.

Hattie Davison is the Head of Data Reform in the UK government Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS). Prior to that she was the Private Secretary to the DCMS Secretary of State covering digital, data, online safety and telecoms policy. Before joining DCMS she held roles in the Foreign Office, Cabinet Office and private sector.
